Team Management Discussion 11

After reading the Chong, Eerde, Rutte, and Chai (2012) article and the textbook, think about an experience in which you were under a lot of time pressure to complete a task or project in a team setting.  What went well during this process?  What could have been better?  In reflection, how would you have improved the process if you had it to do over again?

ANS :

As of my experience, when I worked for my under-graduation project I needed to finish it in two weeks we were four people in my team and I am the team leader. We do not have enough time to plan and execute the project on time, we needed to work 10-12 hours a day. We were excessively occupied with our project on planning, confirming, testing and executing. There we have so much stress and pressure from the professor point of view and we are raised with the questions like what is the status of the project and how it is going.

Teamwork and Cooperation:
Particularly, when we are in the stress and pressure we require solid support from our partners, friends or team members. I trust, it is ideal to coordinate with the team members since they can assist us with any type of situation. Solid bonding with the partners gives better outcomes and relieves from the inconveniences.
It could have been exceptional if the last date to submit the project gets canceled yet it is never going to happen, the opposite side is getting assistance from the professor in regards to the issues brought up in the project or the issues with the team members.
If I use to have a chance, I would truly choose the team members who work for me and assign the work on their interest. This would truly help in completing the work on time and supports to get the speediest and a fantastic result.
